Not sure. Haven't really been paying attention, so not sure if it's an actual fundraising effort with proceeds going to various bodies, or just a case of LFC fans engineering something for publicity.

Apparently various football clubs are playing YNWA before their matches today. Stoke have just played it before their game vs Man City today and everyone applauded.

Profiteering? Or are the monies going to hillsborough fund?

It's been said all money from new sales goes to the fund, I refuse to listen to the song at any function I go to and would turn the telly over if it ever came on but I have bought it which surprises myself although I've immediately removed it. I just felt like the right thing to do

Exactly mate. It's a great sentiment and although I hate the song, some things transcend football!

as much as I applaud the sentiment I just can't bring myself to listen to it, let alone actually buying it. The thought makes my skin crawl.

Trust me I can't listen to it as its been deleted already but 99p to show a bit of solidarity & add to the fund felt like something I should do. I won't be telling any of my red mates about it but it felt right not that anyone who would never do it is wrong , my family suffered at Hillsborough and a section of it has and will never recover so I'm happy enough with my actions.

Brilliantly put, words out my mouth.
