Hi all,

While it seems I'm jumping on the bandwagon since Donovan is in on loan, I've actually been a Blue since late '99, early '00 when Joe-Max Moore was signed from my home town team, the New England Revolution. I got hooked following Walter Smith's boys, even though they couldn't seem to get a result, they worked hard and had some characters (Big Dunc, Weir, Gravesen (whom I still can't believe went to RM!), Gazza, etc.).

I've popped into these forums as a guest for a couple of years, but finally took the plunge to sign up now. Hope to participate a bit, and formally join the great atmosphere here!

Pineapple on pizza is ok by me, but it must be accompanied by ham. Can't have the sweet without the salty.

For me, nothing beats a traditional burrito, though a good quesadilla comes close.

As for salsa, I'll fess up and admit to being a girly-man. I only like a little heat in it. It's all about the cilantro in my mind.

Good choice in the burrito, if you were pushing me I'd probably give top spot to the versatile quesadilla.

Salsa is a personal thing but I think you're missing out if you're not accompanying any quesadilla or taco with jalipeno, preferably habanero but at the very least tobasco. Start it in small drops mate, your taste buds will thank you.

What's your favourite Mexican beer?

Gotta be Negra Modelo.

I've had that! Bloody nice beer. Welcome and ignore the anti-fruit brigade, they think Fanta counts as one their five a day.

Welcome to the best footie forum going. I made JMM a cocktail at TGI in Ellesmere Port back in the the early 2000's. It didn't have Pineapple in it though. He was there with Friedal and Westervelt.

Fanta line == Brilliant!

JMM has always been a class act. Loved his grit and fire for both the USMT and NE Revs. It is a shame he's shilling Acai products now :o
