Yellow card amnesty

When does this kick in. I can find reference to a change a couple of years ago when if you had 5 before the 31/12 you got the 1 game ban but if you picked up your 5th after that date it was just a warning until you had collected a total of 10 when a 2 game ban kicks in. At the end of Feb the 10 game amnesty kicks in.

As this referred to a couple of years ago I am not sure if its still the current ruling or if any dates have changed.

Pretty sure the 5 yellow ban amnesty is still Dec 31st and then the 10 yellow one is the first week of April if I remember correctly...

I think we'll see a lot of tactical fouls in the next two weeks, what with people on 2 or 3 yellows knowing even if they pick up one more yellow it's wiped out end of the month anyway.

Then you risk getting sent off or getting a yellow in another game you didn't intend and getting banned. Genius...
