Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
1st 45 he was outstanding today. Great display of a striker up front on his own. Like the good old days...

Held the ball up and laid off so well. Nice to see a glimpse of him back.

He's ace and our most super striker when were playing only one up front.

The ****ging off and writing off of him on here has been ludicrous.

He's clearly only fit enough for 60 or 70 minutes at the moment due to fitness. Because everyone said he was decent first half too.

they couldnt get near to him for the 1st half. nearly unplayable. If we get 90 mins of that. we really are back.... not seen that for 18 months.

I FORGOT HOW GOOD HE WAS......

[FONT=&quot]I remember when he was looking to get away from Boro when he really wasn’t arsed, I don’t see that in him right now, I genuinely think he is trying. Maybe too hard, there was one point today where he bossed their defender superbly, turned and made a lame shot when there were decent options available. He's still a cracking striker. Anyone got an idea how old he really is ?

Agree on Yakubu, although he should have scored today. He's getting better and sharper with every game he plays. If he stays fit, it's only a matter of time before the 'Feed the Yak and he will score' chant returns to the PL grounds.

Used to have a LOT of time for the lazy sack of crap, but hes gone in my eyes, uesless lazy fat 50 year old, sooner hes gone the better.

(Cue Derby hatrick, FEED THE YAK)

I thought that a bit ago, but he's really seemed up for it again the last couple of games. Whatever Moyes has said to him seems to have worked.
