Time of year again peeps, been a funny year due to the rona... lots will have worked at home whilst others have worked all the way through... I ain’t judging. So, when you finishing work ? How long you off for ? Are you working the festive period ?? Myself... I finish work sometime Christmas Eve, I’d booked leave over new year so was supposed to be off from 24th December through to 12th January but as I’m such a lovely bloke I’ve volunteered to do a shift from 28th December and finish New Year’s Day. Anyway, enjoy whatever time off you have with the people you love x

Not finished, not taking time off...only taking a half day on xmas eve, which is gifted for use any time during xmas and new years. Banking as much "use or lose" time as I can as up to 90 will automatically be moved in to a retirement health savings account, which I will use to help pay for medical between retirement and when Medicare kicks in. Essentially I'm trying my best to get the feck out of here ASAP. Pick your poison, essentially.

And don't start on socialized medicine, I'll work around whatever's possible at the time...screw the Fed.

I hope your Mrs gets a nice break, as she works in retail.

I have booked some time off after Xmas Eve myself. I intend on doing absolutely nothing, and by that, I genuinely mean nothing. Can’t wait.
 
Flat out with gigs now the pubs have reopened here, so working till Christmas Eve, then an arvo gig Sunday 27th. After that I have no bookings till mid January. Most people go away and some venues shut down over the summer hols.

Hoping to take Mrs Thumpety-Thump away for a week or so, maybe do a road trip up to Sydney or get the ferry over to Tasmania. We were supposed to be coming over to the UK but obviously that's off the cards now.
 

First day off is this Saturday. Back on jan. 4.

not sure how it’s gonna go though. I’m not used to this much time off and I’ll have both kids all next week till Christmas Eve. Then the wife gets time off. Kids might not make it to Christmas.
 
Was planning to head home to Port Elizabeth in SA but cancelled that a few weeks ago.. luckily enough as beaches across the whole Eastern Cape have been closed. Looks like a small visit across the border to Joburg to do some retail therapy is the only holiday this year.
 

22nd until the 5th. They had to put a block on anymore leave for Xmas as too many people had thought ahead and used days they would have used for a summer holiday to have an extended Xmas or today would be my last day. I'm not gutted about it one bit honest.
