Xbox Game Keeps Freezing

Right, every time I put my NBA 2K13 game in and then press start, just before it's supposed to bring up the 'Select Storage Device' screen, the game completely freezes and I can't select anything or go to Xbox Home, but the background music is still playing and I can hear my friends. It's as if the Xbox has crashed but the audio is still working and it only happens with this game. However, when a friend invites me to an online match and I accept it works, and when I back out it freezes again.

I've tried wiping it and I've run it under cold water but it still doesn't help. This is the second time in a row, on separate occasions that it has happened now, any advice ?

Well the first time it happened I just went off Xbox, then a couple of days later I come back on and try and the same happens so the Xbox has been switched off between tries.

Have you tried taking the back off and blowing on it ?

whipe round leave it 2 mins wash it off . problem solved

You might have a corrupt title update, delete them all and redownload from xbox live

Thing is though it has no scratches at all.

Did the game work normally previously? Might be worth trying it on another console, if ur other games are working it is the disc or the install
