The Showcase of The Immortals. The Main Event. The Big One.
And it's number 30.....for crying out loud.
Those wrestling fans of GOT may remember I was terribly underwhelmed by last years build up. Everything looked below par. Poor matches. Obvious results etc.... However, it ended up being not bad at all.
Conversely this year, I don't think it looks too bad. Does that mean it will be an awful show? Let's wait and see Sports Entertainment fans.
At least The Rock won't be shaking hands with John effing Cena at the end to ruin my life. Utter bells. The pair of them.
This years sees the immortal Hulk Hogan hosting the event. GRREEEEEEEAAAAAT. No doubt he'll come down hulk up a bit, do that ear thing, do a few backstage bits, and that will be it. Would be cool if he has a little face off with the Ultimate Warrior as he may be there for the Hall Of Fame procession they seem to do about half way through the event.
One thing I am hoping for this year, is no musical interlude by some semi-famous rap store. Totally ruins the flow of the show for me.
Right. Onto the matches. As tradition dictates, i'll give my prediction too, then you guys do the same. Let's go....
Pre Show Match: WWE Tag Title Match - The Uso's (C) Vs Los Matedores Vs The Real Americans Vs Ryback and Curtis Axel - Fatal 4 Way
It's a sad state of affairs when the tag titles are reduced to the pre show but hey, that's just the way it is. I'm sure this will be a decent little match. I quite like the Usos. They look like massive Steven Pienaars. And that's a good thing. I see them keeping the titles, and The Real Americans getting closer to breaking up. Who cares about the other 2 teams hey?

The Shield Vs Kane & The New Age Outlaws
LOL - The Shield will absolutely batter them. The whole Kane in a suit thing is wearing very thin with me and I hope The Shield set him on fire or something so he goes back to what he was.
Alternatively Kane and The Outlaws fluke a win, and The Shield gets closer to breaking up as has been hinted in the recent past. Now i've confused myself.

Bloody hell that took ages to type out! Honestly, christ knows who will win this! Interested to see who the 3 mystery guests are (might have been announced on Raw not seen it yet). Think i'll plump for Big Show as it would be nice for him as he's a bit like Andre.

Outstanding build up to this. Really good.
Bryan will win otherwise the whole rest of the show will be weird.

God I love Bray. Outstanding character and a bloody good wrestler too.
But it's John 'overcome all the odds' Cena. Nah, gotta be Bray hasn't it?

Am I the only one who wishes this was Hell In A Cell? No? Nevermind then.
I like that they actually hate each other.
It seems impossible to believe that they'd let Brock 'Part Time' Lesnar break the streak. Nah no chance.

Can you just imagine how lame it will be if Bryan doesn't win. 90000 people going mental. Might be good actually. Nah.
I have a horrible feeling they might give it to Batista. They wouldn't. Would they?
