Im sitting here in the computer room trying to wrap the wifes prezzies. is it just me or is this the hardest thing in the [Poor language removed] world to do...?

I can cook for many people. I can fix computers. i can drive an sort out cars. I can plaster. I can do a putty run when glazing windows. I can do plenty good [Poor language removed] BUT.....

i just cant wrap prezzies.

WTF is wrong with me!! AAAARRHHHH!!

Does anyone else have this problam...?

I feel your pain dude.

I am absolutely terrible at wrapping! I like to think of myself as a fairly creative person, I play music, have an A level in photography (shut it :P ) etc, but I am so unbelievably [Poor language removed] at wrapping!!! Usually I just bribe my brother to do my parents', but had to wrap the gf's this year while at uni. It was awful, but I did my favourite trick of just stuffing them all into a gift bag so that at least it looks good until crimbo morning, at which point she'll be so happy with her amazing gifts it won't matter what the wrapping's like. Sorted (y) Hopefully...

Do what I do mate. Get loads of wrapping paper and literally wrap the item, no folds or any of that crap, just wrap it and tape it. It hides the actual shape keeping it more of a surprise too... well, at least thats what I say.

Talk about irony huh, i'm really goot at wrapping things up but i don't buy anyone presents so never need to.

Maybe i should start my own company!

you know i've got this fantasy of you and your mate as lezzies
well just as a little sweetener i bought you all these prezzies
i dont want it for myself....you can never call me greedy
its as much for the lads.....danny chico vim & reidy
i might invite toccy, cos i know that he is curious
but no chance for that cal, which should make him furious
i want to rip the head off, until i get a blister
like when i took those photographs
of your younger sister.

oh right gift-wrap

Yeah but women are naturally good at wrapping up :dodgy:

no they're not - all my pressies are either square ones that I can just about manage or in gift bags.

Try buying vouchers too.
I've got this hideous task down to a fine art after years of dreading the sound of jingle bells because i then had to WRAP PRESSIES :@
Bah humbug!

I'm now sorted so have less of a phobia with wrapping paper and I tackle all birthdays etc in a similar manner - square or gift bag.

and one golden rule - never be tempted to buy any of the following as pressies -
cardigans
shirts that are not boxed
ties ditto
boxes of sweets in round tins
flip flops or sandals of any kind
teddy bears (but who can resist them)

all my wrapping done so can now sit back and relax.

happy wrapping everyone(y)

Worked part time in a chip shop in Melling when I was at school, same principal. Top tip, use a good newspaper tabloids are crap for larger pressies.
