Would you welcome back Wayne Rooney back to Goodison ?

He'd be more than welcome once we commence the annual former players grizzly bear wrestling championships.

As long as he was still boss.

Would be embarrassing to have a broken down, mid 30's Rooney who was a shadow of the player he is now wearing the royal blue. [Poor language removed] that.

Everyone saying he is a worse player now is clearly just clutching at bitter straws because of the performances he has put in wearing an England shirt. At club level, he scored 27 in 34 games last season. If he can pull anything like that out of the bag then yes. You don't just lose raw, world class talent.

again its in a united team with that set up of a team any half decent striker given a good run in the team will get goals, ask this what would you have said his best position was when at everton and whats his best postion at man united ?

This the same United team we scored four past at Old Trafford?

I never really saw him play here to know, and probably just behind the striker at United. I'd still think he'd get that in most teams tbh

The thought of Him playing in front of midfield 4 just off the front man, Jelavic, is mouth-watering. I honestly believe he will play for us again, but what state we and he wil be in at that time is anybody's guess
