I know an old chap, 65, who has been blind since age 25. I asked him why he seemed so unbothered by it, and he told me in his eyes his wife still looks 22 to him. Pretty touched I was.

I should clarify that, while some people have amazing drive and courage, I would be too lazy to overcome and would just sit around and listen to music for the rest of my life. I would not be able to play footy without sight, like.
