Would Rooney ever return?

Seeing the result of the former player poll, do you think Rooney may really consider rejoining EFC in the near future?
He must be absolutely minted now, almost a money no object situation & he strikes me as a headstrong fella, not necessarily following normal advice.
Anyone got any insight ? Come on Wazza, it could be great.

His wages may not be an object for him, but the transfer fee would be.
Cant really see Ferguson letting him run out his contract. Doubt it would happen in the near future but maybe one day.

I dont think he will because he'll get better wages off other clubs be it abroad or at home.

Yes I think it's quite possible he will return. Hopefully after his current contract runs out, where he'll still be 29 and be pretty much the same player.

Fergie doesn't have a choice in the matter if Wayne signals his intention to allow his contract to run down so he can join his boyhood club. Nothing he can do.

If we were taken over Tomoz and had funds to buy him I think he'd be back faster than usan bolt.

He will return one day, that day will be when he's as old as david weir was when he left us.

By then his pace will be like the Yak's and his ability to shoot will compare with Neville's.

Not a chance fergie would let him go, and not make a penny for Man U. Also wages, and a the chance to play abroad in the sun.

Think it's common knowledge that the lad will be seen in a everton shirt again. However when is the question. I've heard rumours he will run down his next big contract then look to come back however just pure speculation this. However I think he will be in a everton shirt before 32. Just my opinion like.
