I get a lot of enjoyment and pleasure from this forum, but don't want adverts and certainly do not paste my payment details on the internet.

Just use it as a vehicle for payments? You don't need to store cash in a PayPal account and they can't freeze your bank's etc - just what is in your PayPal account.
