Would any of our missed summer transfer targets have improved us?

Frank Gallagher

Player Valuation: £50m
i genuinely think Dimitri payet , who we were strongly linked too would have improved our first team... maybe also scott dann, altho having been worried about our injury hit back 4 earlier at the start of the campaign they have gone on to prove my doubts wrong! Galloway has been exceptional in his rookie premier league season, along with funes mori.. he was thrown in at the deepend and done a good job considering the pressure he undoubtly would have felt.

I would like to see a quality keeper added in January if it is possible.

I have to admit to being sceptical after a complete lack of quality signings during the summer, but Roberto has emphatically proved me wrong!

having missed out on yarmalenko, at this point I don't think he is as big of a miss as I initially thought.

lennon is the squad player I thought he would be..

the biggest plus is the form of barkley, lukaku and delafeou, if these 3 stay fit then with the top 4 isn't out of our reach with the league as open as ever!

Yes Undoubtably Payet, Dann and Shakiri would have possibly improved us this season, but it's a bigger question than just this season. Better players will be available in the next 12 months.

Ogbonna was a lucky escape.
