Worst Yard Dog in the PL

Gareth Barry is up there surely ?! His Yellow cards total is one of the highest, he is just snide enough to know when to avoid a red card, but he picks up more yellows than cattermole for 'rugged' challenges.

Don't think that meets the definition of yard dog though, because he's also (or at least WAS) a talented player

Nor can I really remember an occasion where he's looked like he's set out to hurt a player.

When I were a lad, a yard dog was an uncompromising player (usually a defender) whose main tactic was to hoof the ball as far up the field as possible - if he was unable to find the upper tier of the main stand.

To be fair the game has changed since those days and those players aren't around so much.

I wish Distin had the appropriately occasional moment of 'yard-doggery' at times...

Out of those mentioned so far, how many of them would you have at Everton (current form or squad player)

Skrtel fits that bill doesn't he ?
