Worst job you ever had

As you are a young apprentice top dressing big pot plant with pure fresh Bull muck which stunk the ammonia in the muck made my hands lily white - then also on a very hot day turning a manure heaped with bull muck and straw -taking my t shirt off and being bitten by a horse fly whilst doing it ouch!!
Then another apprentice job in greenhouses was to balance on the heating pipes on a plank and hand weed under the benches took weeks - Foremans response don't moan I did that when I was an apprentice.
The greenhouse shading in the old days was like an emulsion paint so it had to be scraped of with a 3x2 piece of glass took ages! water would not touch it!
Happy days Not!
got a top Nursery superintendent's job by moving around qualified in my career though!
so was it worth it Yes!

I've liked almost all of my jobs, but I was relief staff in the hospital so there were a couple of wards I wasn't keen on. Didn't like working in the morgue

Glass collecting in a social club when I was 14. Full of 50-80 year olds listening to Mario Lanza. Used to dread Friday and Saturday nights.

Had a job at Morrison's whilst at College and Uni. Was on the cigarette kiosk so it was OK. Never wanted to be stacking shelves. Anyway, escaped after uni and got a job at Morrison's IT at their head office. That was 17 years ago and I'm still there enjoying my job. However, last couple of years they've introduced "Store Support". I now have to work NINE days a year at a store. Hate it. First day I went they had me emptying the bins but it's mainly shelf stacking. One day feels like a week. The only positive I can take is that it's a few minutes from my house rather than my usual long commute.
