Mamma Mia
Camp, drama school, cheesy crap.
I have to draw a distinction between (a) films you are forced to watch (gf, wife, family, etc) or (b) ones that you have looked forward to, or taken a chance on, or just watched because there was nothing else on, only to be massively underwhelmed to the point of anger.
Bridget Jones whatever and a half goddamit blathering drivel, is of the former variety.
As for the latter, I would have to say the Oliver Reed starring remake of 'And Then There Were None'. What in the name was it supposed to be? This was during my 'giving movies a chance' phase, where I didn't turn it off or walk out the door. That horse has long since bolted and patience is no longer my virtue.
As for 'actors', have to agree with the Tom Cruise thing, he's just irritating. Although did watch him in 'Rainman' and 'The Firm'.
As for actresses, Sandra 'what is my function' Bullock and Cameron Diaz. Neither of whom I have been able to sit and watch a movie with them in.
