Worst film ever

La La Land - god knows how it won so many awards. Boring drivel that I was unable to see through to the end which I normally can with any film.
 


it was an interesting character mikkleson played, with an intriguing opening, but it got too weird for me, hyperbole saying it's the worst film ever, but that's the case for most of these shouts
Yes, the opening suggested better was in store than what boringly eventuated. As you say, not the worst movie ever, just another in a long list of films that 'wandered off the reservation'.

there may have been a larger point in it that was beyond my meager intellect, not what I expected though when I watched it, I wasn't prepared for the male rape and stuff
 

Yep. Like Titanic, trying to somehow cram a fictional love story into a real-life event to maximise ticket sales at the cinema is just cringe-worthy to me; and don't get me started on the "artistic license" of the historical inaccuracies.

Surely the real-life event in both of the above examples was dramatic enough I would have thought....
Yes. Exactly this. Why make up a stupid story when there were so many real ones.
