A spin off of a spin off, this thread is dedicated to shyt martial arts films or anything based on fighting.

I'll get us started with this shocker . Sucker punch is "famous" for having Red Dwarf's "Cat" starring alongside a very young and not very stacked Tom Hardy.

Most of the film consists of terrible banter (or "smack talk" as the Americans call it) between the two promoters before ridiculous fight scenes. The quality makes it looks like a 1st year media student's project or something.

That Mackem bloke of "UK's hardest man" (or whatever it was called) is the main villain of the piece.

I didn't put it on the "worst film ever" as I still think it's better than Signs by M. Nightmarishlyunpronounceablename.

The Fighter.

Well overated, fight scenes were ****e, alll the characters were horrible, and the final fight where he takes out the russian guy is just laughable.

When you say Russian guy do you mean Shea Neary who's from Liverpool?

afternoon Darren which country you in now.

Hiya Carlos.

I'm back home in Berlin, Germany. Working in the office right now as my colleague had to go to hospital to check on his girlfriend. I'll be out soon tho', gonna be at a little houseparty for the New Year's Eve.

What you up to tonight?

can I come please.

Is he not thinking of "Fighting" with Channing Tatum? I thought that was a decent film to be honest. "The Fighter" though is horribly overrated. Boring film about a good true story and the Shea Neary being Irish bit at the end was the icing on the cake.

While I'm here the best fighting film is Cinderalla man.

I liked it, myself.

They're making a sequel about his fights with Arturo Gatti which should be interesting. He was a character, Gatti.
