He was an elegant player for me! Much more advanced in terms of movement and thinking than a lot of his team mates. Could finish well too (with one obvious exception).

So gutted he missed that chance in the derby. I remember in the same game he had a quite frankly audacious effort on goal from near the corner flag at the Anfield Road end. If it went in (and it almost did) it probably would have been the best goal I had ever seen in a blue shirt.

Awful hair though.

Maybe it was because of his hair I picked him haha!!
