Worrying Loans?

Evertonized

Player Valuation: £1m
I've enjoyed this season to the maximum, and of course loved the new Everton style. We play fresh, clever and very tactical football which is so refreshing.

To also try and get three points against sides like Arsenal & Manchester United (even Liverpool), rather than hold on to a goalless draw is good to see.

However, my only worry is the loans we have got in. Don't get me wrong, I think they are all BRILLIANT additions to the first 11, but what happens when they go?

Barry - Might stay if we can afford his wages
Lukaku - Chelsea want him
Traore - Only just signed for Monaco
Deulofeu - Barcelona seem to rate him highly

So once they all leave, especially Barry & Lukaku who have been essential to Martinez's style, then in all honesty can we remain a Top 6/4 side in the Summer of 2014?

It would be great to reach the Champions or Europa League using them - but it would be devastating to fall like West Brom after we lose Lukaku or Barry. To pretty much style around two players on loan is good short term, but long term might sink us.

What do you think?

I think Roberto has made it quite clear that he will continue to use the loan system. In the current financial state of the game, it's our best chance to win on the cheap.

Barry will sign BTW.

Not worried in the least here.

About as worried as I was when we knew we'd have to sell anyone who performed decently at the end of the season.

Difference is, we're challenging for Champions League football now. I'll take it.

We should be sponsored by Wonga or something - call it the playday loan.
Just borrowing a little something until that champions league pay day arrives.

Not sure Chelsea want Robles, Lundstram, Stones, Ledson, and Barkley back with Lukaku at the end of the season, tbh.
