Selby was a deserved champion this year - frankly, from 5-10 down he steamrollered Ronnie, who couldn't ever get out of 2nd gear from that point.
 

I think that was a classic example of one guy just plain *wanting* it more than the other one. Selby dug in, never gave up for a single shot, while Ronnie seemed to get weaker and weaker especially if the frames dragged on and he couldn't clear up in a single visit. That last frame just typified it - Ronnie just a couple of shot from securing the frame, plays a careless shot, plays another careless in-off, and is never in control of the safety from there.. however, Selby still has plenty to do but just does what needed to be done.

Only trouble is the winner of Selby/Robertson semi play two sessions on a Saturday so if it goes close they could be tired come Sunday and o'sullivan is the best front runner there's been.

Selbys wives sister is even fitter they sometimes sit together and you would quite happily sit between them!
