World Cup Tickets

My FIFA account says ticket sale pending, and they have taken the money out my credit card. Does that mean I am going to Brazil or have they just held the money in case I do get them?

You're part of the draw, right? They only take your money if it's accepted. So congrats.

That's what I'm hoping, would like to see the email from FIFA confirming it though before I start booking flights

They did say because of the six million requests, not everyone would get a confirmation email before like the 10th of november.

That's why they pushed back the first come first served bit to the 11th from the 5th. Which is good for me, cos it's now 11 pm on a sunday it opens so I should be able to get in straight away for my tickets.

But it says in the terms and conditions, they'll only charge if you're accepted so I would be pretty sure.

Last year i found difficult to get the ticket for world cup match but hopping this year it would not happen.

Yeah, tickets for the 2012 world cup were really hard to get a hold of for some reason.

Officially confirmed on the FIFA website that I have been allocated tickets to 5 matches at the Maracana b)

Just need to negotiate the 37 hours in the air to get there

What are the games? Is it all Brazil matches, a second round and a quarter final....or have you got the final?

4 different group games and one round of 16. Different groups for each clash so will get to see 10 different teams. Don't know which teams yet, but unfortunately won't be Brazil. Will have to settle for watching them on the big screen at the Copacabana
