How's this for great sportsmanship? Dabo helps Busby in men's 5,000m

Aruba athlete Jonathan Busby is helped over the line by Guinea-Bissau's Braima Suncar Dabo as the Doha heat proves too much in the men's 5,000m at the World Championships.

Great sporting gesture. This was the 5k. About 20 dropped out of the marathon.

Doesn't bode well for the World Cup. A decision that continues to look more ridiculous each day.

And the marathon set off at midnight! Even the 3 Ethiopians couldn't hack the heat and dropped out before halfway!!

A truly awful part of the world that is massively unsuited to sporting events, they've destroyed their own sports championship but I'm sure he people at the top got well paid

The general public out there don't give a toss about Athletics. It's a disgrace that it's being held there. Like the world cup.

Quite. If they're looking for challenging and ridiculous climates to compete in, I look forward to Antarctica 2024.
