GK -. Casillas

RB - Danilo
CB - Hummels
CB - Pique
LB - Marcelo

RDM - Fellaini
LDM - Alonso

RAM - Reus
CAM - El Shaarawy
LAM - Schurrle

ST - Falcao

I'd love to see this team in action.

When I pick a World 11, I think of players I think will succeed in any league. I simply do not see Xavi, Iniesta, and alot of those physically small and less imposing spanish players succeeding in more physical leagues such as england, italy, and Germany.

What about them succeeding in the Champions League/Euro's/WC? Think you have to include Xavi and Iniesta in a world XI as they are two of the world's best players.

Current players only.

Casillas - Consistant, experienced and nice WAG
Lahm - Calm, cool and good on either flank
Ramos - Don't like him much but can't deny he's boss. Can cover at right back too
Hummels - Be playing for one of the 'rich' clubs sooner rather than later
Baines - Honestly think he's been the most consistant over the last 3 years and offers more defensively than Marcelo. If Jordi Alba carries on in the same form I'll have to reconsider.
Fellaini - Prefer him back there tbh. May have equals but none better. Bonus of his ability up front if the game needs chasing
Xavi - Imagine Gibson without the injuries.
Messi - A bit gash but he's in coz he seems so likeable. It was either him or Downing
Ronaldo - Rich and good looking. edges out Osman coz his shots are a wee bit harder.
Iniesta - Love him
Falcao - Great hair

Subs: Valdes - has the odd mad moment but generally boss
Alba - Been incredible since last year
Kompany - Belgian
Toure Yaya - Good at everything
Gotze - So good he could be Belgian
Silva - Between him and Ozil.
Van Persie - Match winner.

Sorry to Zlatan fans. Superb player but prefer the balance (football wise and mentally) that my 11 provides. And you just can't put him on the bench ffs.

I'd swap Felli for Busquests, he is known for his diving, peeking and all round acting like as bell, but he's class. He took the place of Yaya and Keita, forced Mascherano to play at centre back and Barcelona really missed him against Celtic.

Ibra's a big nosed selfish knobhead lad, Anichebe's twice the player he is.

nor do i really, but his performance against england changed my mind. he scores some out of this world goals fairly regularly, as well as simple goals. with the demise of drogba now he's probably the best target man like striker in the world ahead of e.g. gomez, huntelaar and llorente

saw this last night and couldn't be bothered to post it because it was laughable. gerrard's form has been shocking enough, but lampard? when has the guy ever been off the bench, if they felt the need to have english players in there because of the premier league surely rooney is head and shoulders above these two. the list is shocking though, 11 players well known around the world from the most established leagues
