Love my Job at the mo - done some unbearable call centre/sales one though - I've done my time that's for sure!

I've done a call center. It is the worst. These were grumpy people too. I think I would work at Tesco or something before going to a call center again.

Whats it even like working in a call centre? I'm thinking of doing it just for some cash. No jobs out there whatsoever and don't want to be sitting on my arse.

Also, just found out I need to stay on this apprenticeship until December (I thought it was July so that is a killer blow).
Are agencies any good?

It can be awesome or woeful mate.

I did it for a few years abd enjoyed it but you get very bored very quickly. A lot depends on the people you're with.

I still work in a buidling that does call work and it's still the same as when I did it.

Mney can be good doing it.

At the moment my job is not the best and very stressful, however being made redundant at the end of September. Will be nice in the form of ill get 3 months gardening leave which will take me up till christmas so will give me the opportunity to hopefully find something that I will really enjoy.

Mate I work in a call centre and ijjysmith is right it can be great but it can be awful, it all depends on yourself and what you make of it I suppose.

If work, longterm until you retire, ever weeky, at the end of it being not much better off than the day you left school, being that for most work just gives you enough to get there next week, which just gives you enough to get there next week etc

If work was that good, you and me would be shoved aside, bumped out of the queue etc by our so called betters, the great and the good, the movers and shakers, the lords and ladies, the rich etc

But they don't
and we aren't
so that sort of nails the is work good

the doing something is good

But the general whole concept.....I used to have my doubts....until I lost my job then I was bored Sh1tless

I start in 2 weeks, clock on, paid weekly n,othing flash in terms of cash, thats why they call it 'take home pay'.....ypu can't afford to do any else with it.

I will let you know how long it takes me to dread getting up in the morning
