How do you deal with a work place bully who holds grudges when all you want to do it your job. He would never get the sack because he has been at the company since the dawn of time and tight with the boss so I feel like I can't go to the boss. I don't want to cause trouble I just want to do my job without feeling threatened.

Hmm tough one Bundz.

Guilt trip this colleague into realisiing what he's like. Or do the exact same thing to him as he does to you.

That's how i'd tackle it.

Can you not confront him, keep ya mobile phone on record and record the convo, ask him why he is the way he is, about the grudge and threaten to go see the boss. (recording it is key)

Put some snooker balls into a sock, follow him into the toilet and whack him.

Seriously, I would speak to him and your boss about it straight away to nip it in the bud.

He might not realise what he is doing, and how its affecting you. We spend a lot of time in work, we have pressure enough with putting up with crap like this.

As Goat says, snitches get stitches.

Swerve going to your boss and just commence a campaign of petty hate against him. Let's be honest, he's had it coming for a while now, so start off by supergluing his mug to his desk, turn all the staples upside down in his stapler and saw the legs off his chair.

On ya Bundz
