A question every year on our annual survey is 'do you enjoy coming to work?'. When the results come back, usually showing about 10% saying yes, there's always a big inquest as to why it's not higher. For me, I don't hate it but would much rather stay in bed so can't ever confess to looking forward to going to work whatever job I've ever done. So what says GOT? Are you in the 10%, are you like me or do you despise what you do?

Maybe its my general optimistic upbeat nature, but I used to enjoy going to work.

That said, my longest job, in sales and stuff, was hardly a grind, and my last one, delivering stuff, was just enjoyable, most of the time.

Pretty much enjoy my early/maybe temporary retirement now. If I could, and wanted to do shifts in Sainsburys in a year or so, would quite enjoy that I reckon.

I'm pretty much exactly this. I don't actively hate my job and sometimes it's pretty good....but only as far as work goes.

There are a thousand and one things I'd rather be doing than working so I never look forward to it. It's taking me away from stuff that I'd actively enjoy and have a desire to do. I can't imagine there's a (realistic) job I'd enjoy more than what I do outside of work.

Hate it. Hate every job I’ve ever done. Hate managers. Especially the ones that live their lives like some crap management book they’ve been conned into believing. Managers are kopites. Weird cult type behaviour. I spend most of my days at work (I work in IT) thinking of ways not to do anything and ways to never have to work again. I try to look as unenthusiastic as possible so I don’t get given much to do. They get the bare minimum out of me. Not even had a cost of living rise in three years.
