You see this comment with EVERY women's football discussion and I never quite understand it.

The football is "quite poor" if you want to compare it to men's football but its the best level for women's football so by its very nature its not poor. It's the best standard that women offer.

Also why does it matter anyway? The team we all support has been crap for 30 odd years. Why don't we all support Manchester City instead?

Football and sport in general works better with a vested interest. If you don't know the players, the rivalries and the stories to watch out for then generally it won't be as enjoyable. I'll never enjoy La Liga because I know next to nothing about the league. You can kind of appreciate it as a contest but the actual interest will be lacking if you don't get angry when a team concedes etc.

I would typically say the same about Everton when watching.... do I enjoy watching all Everton games no... Has the football often been poor in recent seasons, yes!

I am just commenting on the game yesterday and especially the 1st half. 2nd half when Norway started playing it picked up slightly.

Ah right, yeah out of the 2 games yesterday there is only really one team who people would class as being decent and Norway always seem to mess up at tournaments anyway.
 
I'll keep the matches going on an extra screen on my computer - Belgium v Italy now - Justine Vanhaevermaet playing for Belgium, Martina Piemonte on the bench for Italy - yes, I know neither are part of the squad now, but I'll still root for them to play well.

One player who wanted to Leave Everton - Piemonte.
And one that didnt - Vanhaevermaet.

She was very shocked she was not getting a new contract. She loved everything at Everton. She actually played in a lot of games. suppose you could say her age as reason we got rid of her, but she played pretty decent for Everton, But replaced by a lot younger player for new season
