It's like f*cking Death Valley in my house.

Put Heating on
warm home up
Turn off heating
Be comfortable

Not

Put heating on in every room, including the toilet thus turning the house into a f*cking oven.

My daughter is half asleep as a result ! It's f*ckin 6:14PM

You fogot to add then go nuts at big heating bill and blame others for it

Have to admit i'm definitely guilty of this. Heaters on, walking round like its summer and then when he opens a window I moan at the cold breeze.

Oh no. no no. Our bill has doubled now, not a single word uttered when I informed her it's now £140 a month.

Need to change your tariff mate. Think we paid something like £70 last month, and that's for an old 3 bed Victorian house that's as leaky as a leaky thing. No loft or wall insulation, double glazing etc.

Usually have the place heated to around 17/18 degrees. We figure it's winter so we wear winter clothes.

I'm with Brucie on this one. Me and Mrs. Tree live in a two-bed victorian, high ceiling, big window, single-glazed, no-insulation kinda thing and our gas and electric combined is only £80 a month.

We're having an unusually mild winter at the moment (it was eleven degrees in Brighton today... again) so I just don't understand what people are talking about when they claim it's cold. I can only presume these same people intend to set themselves on fire when it snows.

Hahah. That last line had be laughing.

Christ!

First time I've ever had to pay bills this year and our terraced house with 4 people in uses about £50 a month electricity and £20-£30 or so gas, but we've not used the heating much as it's not been too cold yet this year.

Wait'll she goes through the "change" mate. Then you'll have to wear a parka.

Leccy - £114
Gas - £86

Per month here.. Deffo no mansion.

ffs, £114 a month for leccy ?
That's f'in outrageous. Are you growing weed in the attic or something ?

3 bed-semi , £50 / month gas, £25 electric. Leccy used to be ~ £40 but we've kicked the kids out on the street.
