Wolves dropped a bit of a clanger yesterday by attempting to gloss over the fact that David Edwards, Christophe Berra and Adlene Guediora had all missed the club’s pre-season photocall through illness and injury by merely grafting their heads onto the 2011/12 team photo over the mugs of three reserve teamers.

‘Fair enough’ you may argue and, indeed, we’d never have noticed either. In fact, Wolves would’ve gotten away completely scot free…if they hadn’t have gone and publicised the group shot on their website with the original ‘Edwards, Berra and Guediora-less’ photo – thus revealing the true identities of two of the unwitting stooges…

I remember us having to apologise to Joe Max Moore's boot sponsor for the very same thing.
Joe was the featured player in the programme for his first game of the season after missing a few with injury. They wanted a action shot but as he hadn't played in the new season's strip they photoshoped his head on to a picture of Tobias Linderroth who was the same build, unfortunately Tobias wore a different make of boot and Joe's boot sponsor's attended the game and on seeing the picture asked for an explanation and the club had to come clean and issue an apology in the next programme.

There's one going round with Man City's "Poznan" where the club has just mirrored the image at one point to make it seem packed.
