Match Thread Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-3 Everton 15:00 Aug 30

Huge opportunity to pick up a win and set us up for a more comfortable season. All of the sudden with Villa and West Hams struggles the next few look a lot easier, but this is one we have to be circling with how bad Wolves have looked.

Michael Oliver is the ref with Craig Pawson on VAR.. that is a lot more worrying than what Wolves might throw at us or what team Moyes picks!
Pigmols finest….😳

Crazy how bad these clowns are at their jobs. Webb must have several different apology letter templates already saved, ready to hit send.

The way things are going the apology will soon be coming before a balls been kicked.

I wonder what nonsense they will cook up in this game?

I hope Moyes has reinforced stuff like tucking their arms in when going for a block. Proxmity or not, don't even give them a sniff of a penalty.

Still fuming about Onana's one at city a few years back.

Confident going into this one. I'll never learn
Well, that is the thing. Positivity is now shining through. Not long ago it was all doom, gloom and negativity, on here and generally amongst Evertonians. Anything can happen... win, lose, draw, a mess up by the ref and/or VAR. But we now believe we can win there. That is already half of the battle won.

Most of the refs are poor but Pawson, whether on the pitch or in the VAR room, is terrible.

Losing Cunha and Ait-Nouri is potentially a big deal for Wolves. See how their new players bed in. 2 losses from 2 so far, albeit against good sides. Scraped past West Ham.

Probably a tight game, but unusually optimistic about this. That rarely correlates with us winning though.
I'm hoping that Strand Larsen is 'unsettled' by the transfer talk.

If we have ambitions of finishing top half, then we should be looking for three points here.
Would make for a really encouraging start, after the Leeds disappointment.

Not sure though, we need to be tighter defensively and offer more of a threat up front.

Points to a draw for me.

Itll be the same 11 that played against Brighton, the only possible change is Mykolenko LB, Garner CM for Iroegbunam, but I get the feeling it'll be the same team

Dibling will be introduced slowly in the league, KDH, Grealish & Ndiaye are the 3 for now I think
