Yeah I thought he'd barely speak English but he sounds like a cockney/Polish hybrid.

He's been at Arsenal since he was 16 and lived and was born in Poland beforehand. I would have thought his English would have been worse though, even still.

Warsaw, but he's been on the Arse's books for six years now. His dad kept goal for Poland.

His accent is stupidly English sounding. I knew he was Polish but if you didn't you could mistake him for being Scandinavian as a lot of them sound very English.

like in many European countries, the polish place much more emphasis upon learning other languages. They ain't as backwardslinguistically or challenged as the average brit (inc me). So not that surprising really. Really wish I'd paid more attention to languages at school.

Me too. Got my French O Level but never really put any effort in. I'm now learning Spanish at night school and loving it.

It should be mandatory that kids leave school being fluent in one language other than facebook or twitter
