Does anyone know whether the better wireless routers out there will be compatible with a first edition Mac powerbook (think around year 2001-2)?
Apparently there are routers with a further reaching signal ending in 'N' rather than 'P' or 'G' after the routers model name ie. Netgear DG834N. But not sure about compatibility with older machines.
Or does anyone have a wireless router that sufficiently beams around a semi-detached sized house? Thinking of switching to 02 from Demon and currently have wires all over the place.
