They're calling this one "The Underdogs Final" on account of the fact that both Caley and Falkirk beat more fancied teams to reach the Final itself

Falkirk sneaked by Hibs 1-0 where as Caley notched a famous 3-2 victory over Celtic

Of course, Hibs Vs Celtic would have been a much more marketable Finall, but hey-ho that's professional sport for you. You don't always get the result you want

This Final will be the Scottish equivilant of Portsmouth Vs Cardiff in 2008, one of the least watched FA Cup Finals of all time

Still though, for the amassed Thistle and Falkirk supporters, this should be a great occasion. It's great to see two unfancied sides battling it out for the Cup like this. Both sides are capable of decent football as well, so the match should be watchable if nothing else

Caley Thistle are yet to ever win the Scottish Cup and would have to be slight favourites, due to securing a decent top half finish in the SPFL. It's surreal seeing former Stockport County player Greg Tansey getting to play in a Final like this. I bet he'll be hoping to have a reverse of Caley's last apperance in a Final, a penalty loss to Aberdeen last season in the League Cup

Falkirk last won the Cup in 1957. The winners of the FA Cup that season? Aston Villa

An omen?

You'll have to tune in to find out

The Final will be on Sky Sports and also BBC Scotland

It will be a nice warm up in preperation for Arsenal Vs Villa afterward

If this thread makes it past two pages, I'll be amazed

I'll do my best for you, Mikey.

Do you think both teams will score?

If so I shall put that game and the Wembley one on my BTTS coupon :)

Good luck to Inverness here. Everton only for me, but my nan loved these and I'll have to keep an ear out for this score tomorrow.

Nice little club actually. I remember when they played at their old Telford Street ground, which is a retail park now, I think. These didn't exist 25 years ago, and are now near the top of their league and in their second cup final, with a realistic chance of winning this one, the first one being the Scottish League cup. I know the SPL is t the best, but that's impressive in 25 years.

When they moved to their new ground in the late '90's, me and my dad drove up to look at it close-up. It was closed (end of July) but they opened up to let us two Scouse Evertonians around, they were beaming with the place.

Good luck to Inverness then tomorrow.
