Part of me thinks that this Fer deal was built on future revenue, and possibly a gamble on the reaching of 4th in mind. Mayhap we had someone look at our chances of achieving that one more time and having us pull out?

Anyway. Whatever happens happens, but there's a lot relying on the businessmen here. If we lose moyes, felli and god forbid baines, maybe we could have enough to spur on a realistic bid for a new stadium or something? Or footballers of ridiculous value, anyway. Aw who am i kidding it will all be spent to pay off debts...

Fellaini will be sold, we'll spend about half of that on two reserve keepers, 3 right backs and small, lightweight midfielders.

Yes I'm going to agree with you the original poster. It will be a important summer and I do think we will be very busy on the back of a Fellaini sale, heitinga sale plus the TV money. I also think moyes will stay.

As for players well a couple of regular suspects come to mind lescott, Donovan, Fer... Could need as many as 6 players with the above 2 leaving.
