will irish people now support england in euros????

just wondering now us irish are bk home from the euros and the english playing tonight are us irish fans supporting england in euros??? personally id love to but would break my heart to see gerrard life the cup so its abe for me anyone but england!
 

I think the majority of Irish people have made their feelings towards England pretty clear over the last 50 or so years in numerous ways.
 
The English always support the Irish etc when they're playing but I could see historically why the Irish wouldn't wanna return that favour I guess.
 
i know theres history of why ireland wudnt support england but things have moved on now for the better and hopefully never to go back there was a text vote this morning on one of the irish radio shows this morning yes if you support england no if you dont no,s won 67% to 33% yet im sure the 67% no,s support a english club side if gerrard wasnt captain id defo support england but cant bring myself to it over him!!
 

Of course they won't.

Tbf England gives it support to the home nations and Ireland in an 'aaaaawwwwww' sort of way, rooting for the underdogs, so I don't really blame them.

After being on this forum I have no love for any of them.
 
We've spent the last thousand years oppressing the bastards. You might as well ask if the poles will support russia or germany.

Polish fans might well support England, though. They seem to like us.
