Will Everton be contenders or pretenders this season? (Guardian Article)

I think we should all just enjoy the Chelsea result.

We caught them at a bad time, but ultimately played very very well. Should we lose to Swansea, i'll be disappointed, but as long as we beat Liverpool, we're back on track. At the end of the day, Swansea is a hard away game, and not many teams have good records there (we do!), so we can have a go, and hope for the best.
I find that Swansea play similarly to us, so I expect an opportunity to build on our good start. We haven't started the season slow, which is a huge bonus for a change!

Haven't lost in the past 20 league meeting against them mate, and think we've won 8 out of the last 10 with 2 draws at their place in the league as well

With everyone bar City above us in the league having a really tough away game this weekend as well, could be the chance to go into 2nd which would be a massive confidence boost for the lads going into some very tough games

It's true. But the pessimist in me says, every record has to be broken, Swansea will one day beat us in the league, lets just hope it isn't tomorrow!
