why cos they have been bankrolled by a dictatorial regime ? and oppressed their longest standing rivals that fought them in the civil war ? who incidentally were at the top of the crop whilst the Eaters of humble were eating swathes of it during a visit to the 2nd division ?

Make no mistake ladies and gentlemen, Wigan R.L. were almost dead and buried and it was only cos of the local council oppressing the others of the borough in a way akin to Franco & the Catalans, that they scraped their way back.

The rest of the borough have had enough of funding their projects though and if there's to be a revolution or civil war it'll start around here.
Our kids won't even play in their league btw and go to Warrington or Bolton/Bury instead.

I don't blame them for not going. They were there twice last season, it's overpriced and it's only a glorified pre-season friendly. I'd still be there myself though if Everton were there.

I'm kinda glad they got relegated last season, small teams with no fans are better off in the championship. Leave the prem to the big boys.
