Arsenal will give fitness tests to three players before the FA Cup semi-final against holders Wigan Athletic.
Midfielders Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Gibbs) (groin) and Tomas Rosicky (thigh) face checks as does full-back Kieran Gibbs (ankle) before the Wembley tie.
Ben Watson, whose scored the winner in last season's final against Manchester City, is out with a broken leg.
Latics boss Uwe Rosler must decide between Scott Carson and Ali Al Habsi for goalkeeping slot.
Wigan, under Roberto Martinez's management, produced a major upset bywinning the FA Cup last season.
But Rosler, who took over in December following Owen Coyle's ill-fated short reign, believes Martinez has done his old club no favours this time round.
Arsenal head into the match on the back of a 3-0 defeat at Martinez's Everton, a result that has damaged the Gunners's hopes of finishing in the Premier League's top four.
"In many ways, Arsenal's defeat at Everton last Sunday didn't help us because it puts even more pressure on Arsenal to absolutely go for it and to win a trophy this year with their Champions League place under threat," Rosler told Wigan's website.
"We have to make sure we stay in the game as long as possible and give ourselves a chance to get through to the final."
Ray Parlour, who won nine major honours with the Gunners, including three league titles and four FA Cups, says Arsenal's players should be more interested in ending the club's nine-year wait for a trophy rather than trying to guarantee another Champions League campaign.
"If I had to pick fourth and no trophy, or fifth and a trophy... I would take the trophy," said ex-England international Parlour.
"It would give the club a big boost."
