I just set up WiFi on the internet router at home, but am considering turning it off. I am concerned about cancer as with any technology that uses radiation - mobile phones, microwaves etc. We have one hill (the only hill for miles) which has all the mobile phone towers on it, it is commonly called "cancer hill" as it has a very high rate of cancer sufferers on it, although nothing official is ever done about it.

Anyone heard of anyone with cancer as a suspected result of WiFi exposure?

Heard that the Radio waves / WIFI can irritate Tinnitus which i have,We moved to a new factory and my office is not to far away from the main Hub which has everything in it,And my tinnitus has increased..........Workers Comp?

Dont fall for that bollox lad, if it was true we'd all be dead.........

It hasn't been around that long though. Just think of asbestos etc. every thought it was safe. This guy I work with has a huge growth on his back where he used to put his mobile phone all day when he was a carpenter - now that aint right.

Has he taken the phone holder off too?

Make sure you get the large size and double wrap, one cannot be too careful then enjoy WiFi internet.

Also depends how old you are. If you are 70 why worry.

a discarded pie tray should do the trick, you can also fashion one into a 'box' not as strong as the cricket type adornment, but then these waves arent made of leather and cork, & being launched by 6ft 6" Antiguans with 3 ft arms from 22 yds away.

can always use as an ashtray when on your smoko as well
