If a miracle happened and we brought in 2 exciting new players, I think the fans will come back to Goodison.
Everton ARE a massive club and you'd be suprised at our support internationally, yes LFC, MUFC, Chelsea, Arsenal have a bigger fan base but that is all down to the marketing of the EPL since Sky got hold of it. MUFC and LFC are brands, like Nike, addidas etc
These 4 clubs have had success where Everton haven't, the clubs and merchandise etc will be shoved down the throat of every person outisde of Europe to generate extra income for the club; the simple fact is that Everton have always lacked in promoting their brand
id still find time for you little boyA welcome distraction. Excellent. Thank you Mr. Durham.
We are the second club in a city that has given its name to the other team, who subsequently are one of the most famous clubs in the world. Liverpool is not a nice place. Goodison is a ****hole. No one outside of Britain and mainland Europe has even heard of us. In the large scale of things we are a small club with a small fan base with a terrible ground, no PP to build a new one and no prospects. We sell our best players and have big debt
We have zero hope of foreiogn investment
It has to be domestic, and that is just not gonna happen

Hello, I am new here. nice to meet you.
I don't think there is any realistic chance of us being bought in the foreseeable future. Based on the recent history of football club buy-outs, the majority of them have been by mega-rich foreigners with no particular loyaly to any club. In the main they seem to be vanity projects aimed at funding qualificatoin to the Champions League. In England now there are 6 or so clubs with realistic CL ambitions hence the chances of getting there are low unless there is a massive investment. This will be much harder to do with the new UEFA Financial Fair Play regulatons now coming into force. This is the last transfer window before the "balancng the books" on players in and out comes into effect. From now on it will be very difficult to take over a club and do aMan City or Chelsea. There is much more potential for success in other countries now. For example, in Spain there are 2 major clubs but 4 CL places available. The old second tier of Valencia, Villareal etc. are struggling financially and getting a team into a CL position will be much easier there. Hence te recent acquisitions of Malaga and Getafe and subsequent investment in players. Similar situation with Paris Saint Germaine in France. Factors such as the state of our ground, sharing a city with another PL club may have some impact on a decision, but it is the harsh reality of CL qualification that dictates where the money will go. If by some miracle we could achieve or get close to CL qualification maybe we would be attractive, oterwise I can't see anything happening for us.
