We are not delegates at a Communist Party congress, merely there to clap and cheer.
This forum has lots of constructive criticism, some unconstructive, but all of it is made out of love for the club.
Fans are the soul of the club, without us there is nothing.
I think we can be hopeful of good times ahead, but we have a duty to be ambitious for the club, and point out the right direction, where we can.
We need success, we can't live off past glories.
I agree. I've been watching since the mid 1970s and The simple truth of the matter is that since the decline of the Kendall team after 1987 we have had nearly 3 decades of garbage. We have never even looked likely to challenge.
Are we expected to see the years turn to decades and see nothing happen?
Are middle aged blues like me and my mates who have watched this rubbish to turn into a talking shop of old men looking as dewy eyed talking about Steven, Reid and Bracewell the way our dads and older brothers talked of Harvey, Ball and kendall?
We have every right to moan. It has been almost unalleviated mediocrity. I hate, I mean reallyHATE the obvious fear we show every year at Anfield. I KNOW we'll be beaten there this year as we always are. is that good enough?
