Why Everton aren't scoring goals

I think he has it pretty much spot on.

Whilst we do need another quality striker the midfield, pacifically the 3 behind the striker are giving very little to the team apart from maybe drenthe.

As has been the case for a few years now. A quality winger who can chip in is still needed. I just hope some how as a minimum we can get a another winger and striker in Jan

Another problem is a lack of genuine pace throughout the squad and our inability to move the ball quickly. Both of these attributes probably go hand in hand. If you don't have players quick enough to get beyond the ball, then you won't be able to move the ball on quickly. Also, we have very few players that are capable of stretching the opposition with an accurate horizontal ball from one side of the pitch to the other.

Theres a lot of factors, we dont have much quality uppfront, when we bring on subs they come on too late to do anything. Our best striker likes to be a midfielder and doesnt run much...

...We also play the 4-5-1 and everyone knows how to defend against us now, so its difficult to break teams down, and we cant counter because we have no pace.

Cahill has always got us goals and has mostly been utilised as our 2nd striker , this season he's not done anything which has put extra pressure on Louis who right now is not very mobile , Losing Pienaar has been a big blow to us , his partnership with Bainsey was lethal , almost telepathic , if we could get him back on loan this would be a great move , If not bringing back Landon Donovan could also be profitable .
I know I'm going to get slated for this but I'd also like to see Manny Fernandes return , his second spell with us was not great but he returned after a long injury then got another one with us and was only effective for the last few games before he went back to Valencia . I'd love to see him back here . ! He'd be a great replacement for Mikel

The Billy and Hetinga money should have gone on Darren Bent.

48 goals since then i'm pretty sure he'd have picked us over Sunderland.
