Why doesn't sky offer total pay-per-view packages - every game live

We are very lucky here in Australia, every single game is shown live. And when there are 4 or 5 games all with a 3:00 kick off, they show all of them on viewers choice. Love the red button.

Only pain is when Everton are on a late kick off - can't be arsed sitting up till 3 or 4am

not every game is live all the time. We were not on live last week. Only game that wasn't live

Isn't it to protect the whole leagues structure in general outside of the premier league? For instance, someone may opt to stay in and watch a big televised 3 o'clock kick off as oppose to walking ten minutes down the road to watch Leyton Orient

Directv does this for the NFL over here. You pay a fee and get every game. I don't know why they wouldn't do it for the PL.

Problem here is territories in europe. Theres already kick off about getting itallian sky channels etc and showing 3pm games in pubs. If Sky was able to make people subscribe for certain clubs or for a punter to watch every game, it would lower the cost of the TV deal structure they have in place where packages are sold world wide.

Sky also also don't have a monopoly on the whole of the football tv rights. It wouldnt be fair practice if they did. Its why ESPN, ITV, and now BT have football packages.

Then theres the cup competitions rights to deal with.

Its to protect the 3pm fixtures they will never be shown live. Matches at 1pm 5pm on a sat or Sun can all be shown live not the 3 pm. To protect attendences. Although i like a drink and watching the other football on a Sunday i would gladly return to all the games kicking off at 3.

I can see this being offered over the web before long. Of course it should be cheaper than a TV subscription but the cynic in me believes it won't be.
