Why does every Man U fan that comes on tv or radio have to give there age then the exact year month day time and second they became a Man U fan? Annoys the hell out of me, no other clubs fans do this

Gets on my nerves. I've been an Everton supporter for 56 years and I've never heard anyone ever do it ........

The kind of 'fan' you're talking about will be dumping their United shirt at the end of the season and nipping off to Sports Direct to buy a Barca strip.

Long time reader of this thread. First time poster.

I've been an Everton supporter for 34 years minus 2 days during 1996 when I couldn't be arsed.

I agree with the sentiments of the OP.

Its the type that have to justify why they're a United fan from Surrey. 'I've supported them for 55 years ever since my old man did work up north in Salford and I am FUMING!!' Ok pal, but what does that have to with you the discussion on how long Moyes will get?
For the record I don't care where your from and who you support as long as your heart and passion is there for the club for whatever reason but these characters always start with the same tag line and its slightly tedious. They only ever pop up when the club is under scrutiny.

You can literally run circles around them and make them look like complete fools after talking football with them for 3 minutes.
