Why do Brits struggle at basketball?

Any particular reason for a great nation to be abysmal playing this fine sport?

I do enjoy watching NBA and Euroleague. Well used to, maybe, thanks to covid19.

Because we don't play it on the streets, we barely play it in school, it's not on our TV's.

The same reason if you flip it on its head American's are trash at football.

we play cricket though, a sport so boring we had to colonise and enslave parts of the planet just to have someone else to play with.

It’s a great game to play. I used to play it when I was about 18, only played in local league but we used to play against the university team who were full of Greeks.... never have I seen such an angry race of people when it comes to basketball lol lol
