Why are people so disappointed about Arteta?

I'd rate the Arteta transfers one of the saddest days in recent Goodison memory.

A club of our size should be generating more money to be able to fight off clubs should and where we so wish. And then some.

Feel privileged to have watched him....similar memories of Reid. TBH I'd like to see him have a couple of good seasons at arsenal, not his fault we're skint.

We turnover £80 million. We are not skint.

Its just we should be turning over £110million or more if the correct decisions were made on club corporate strategy had been made.

i thought it was good business for a 29yr old who hasnt done the business for ages. also- is it dead easy to generate about 400mil

Yes we are. Our turnover is not our profit, and our profits in no way match our liabilities. The few remaining assets are the ground (!) and the players on the pitch.

Don't argue this point, the credibility of the FRT is at stake.

Actually since the, player sales the turnover actually well exceeds current liabilities actually.

And the point I'm making is that if turnover was higher those previous liabilities would be being met.

Don't argue that point. That is a fundamental principle of economics.

I will repeat once:

"our turnover is not our profit"

Yes and unless turnover is higher it won't exceed current liabilities and therefore be PROFIT will it?

But since the sales it does and its a projected profit for this year.

But if turnover was higher the sales wouldn't of been desirable/needed.

No need to repeat. Your point is mute.
