Who'd be an Uber driver...

I'd rather not be stabbed/shot and robbed.

for the past 6 or so months i've got 2 ubers a day to work and back and often use them at the weekend as well, never been shot stabbed or robbed or had any agro from the drivers. Most of them are polite quiet muslims, some of them even carry free refreshments for customers in the back such as bottled water and mints.

Did get a bit nervous that one time one of them had an ISIS sticker on his back window but i made it home with my head intact so happy days.

I used it a few times and the guys looked like they were fresh out of prison. If I have a group of people with me then fine, but as a young woman I will not use it by myself.

Also, the question was who wants to be an uber driver. There have been stories here about them being attacked by passengers. No thanks.

I didn't realise you were female, forgive me... we don't get many of your kind on football forums :p

I too would be hesitant if i was a woman but there is a lot of false information out there which says Uber do not do background checks on drivers etc, they absolutely do... you have to go to a formal interview and have no criminal record etc.

True, but that's surely something which is relevant to all cab/taxi services.

I like Uber as a service, it's much better than regular taxi's and certainly less expensive.
People like that though, really need their heads tested...poor woman has clearly got issues.
For a Doctor, shameful behavior it really is, alright as the newspaper article says - some people can have off days and we shouldn't hang her as a result, but she really does need some kind of anger management course.
Too many women are excused poor behavior for whatever reason, had the roles been reversed, I'm 100% certain the Miami police would have arrested the fella, but obviously, no action taken against a woman.
