Player Valuation: £15m
This season we have Portsmouth, Burnley & Hull City relagated from the Premier League, what player do you think it's worth us taking it off one of these relagated side?

I have to admit I have not been keeping a close look at these relagated side, and we can certainly do with a RM/LM, LB and a creative midfielder, did you notice any hidden gem in these side, which worth us buying off these side?

Is Hassan Yebda, Chris McCann or Chris Eagles any good?

We're better than that surely?

Getting player from relagated side does not mean we are going downhill. Where did Cahill, Jagielka & Baines comes from?

Some relagated side best player might prove to be useful to us or as a back-up player for us, when we have alot of injured player!

We're better than that surely?

Half our team came from lower league sides, or teams from 'lesser' leagues. Just because they play for relegated teams doesn't make them bad players, any worse than what weve got, or unable to help us.

That said there aren't many players there that have the right combo of aga and quality for me. Would it be worth to get Danny Fow back in as understudy for Baines? Maybe Eagles for RW, and Jamie O'Hara if he wasn't going back to Spurs...?

I'm not saying we're better than getting players from relegated sides. I wanted Bassong last year.

I'm saying we're better than getting players from Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth. I'd take Fletcher at a push but that would be it.

He did come from the Championship though, he made the step up with Wigan. Jagielka, Cahill, Baines, Yakubu, Saha, Gosling and possibly Nash all started there English career's in the lower Leagues.

No offense, but it seems to me thats exactly what you're saying! :o Either way, I do agree with you that there's not many there who could help us. Consider Fletch briefly, but for me he's too old to bring in without being good enough to be an improvement to the (most common) starting 11.

I don't think there's a player on any of those sides that would be a first choice player for Everton. I don't think there's a single player from Burnley that would make the squad. Hunt would be a decent add from Hull. Taking away the loan players from Portsmouth, there's barely anything left...

That's about it. I think there's a good reason why all 3 were relegated, they lacked talent.

Well the question was who do we want from this years relegated sides. I, having seen all three play this season, think we're better than that and should be looking at better teams.

What I wasn't that saying is that we're too good to ever buy any player from a team that got relegated from the english top flight or indeed hasn't actually been in the english top flight. It would be nice, but it's clearly not the case.

And Fletcher's only 23 isn't he? I mean Eagles is too old, sure but, like I said if pushed I wouldn't mind Fletcher taking Vaughan's place on the bench.

Ah, so not so much that we're 'better than that', just that those three teams happen to be lacking in talent?

You're right about Fletcher, i must of been thinking of someone else, god knows who tho! Eagles is only 24 isn't he?

Is he? I thought he'd been kicking around for ages? I wouldn't mind him, if pushed, either then.

Proper footie experts us then, eh? How olds Owen again? Just a kid, right?
