Yeah, Mods, please lock this thread. I must have been having a senior moment and forgot that Everton don't do relegation so the question as well as being hypothetical is also rather superfluous.

As proof of this I recently saw a Paddy Power meme which went something like...'There is no force in the Universe that can ever get Everton relegated' .

Came 12th last year. Even if the PL had managed to get away with docking us 17 as they wanted we still would have stayed up.

Relegation threads when the season has only been over a month are unnecessary. Especially when there’s at least some positivity around the club being taken over (and not by 777).
